So ... I used the INON UWL-100 recently for the first time with my G9/Ikelite setup.
It was great to get the expanded FOV. The corner sharpness could be better, but I understand the limitations of the setup. It would seem that if they wanted to, Ikelite (or an industrious soul) could make an ever shorter short port that might work even better at the expense of even more zoom. For a pure W/A setup, that might be ok.
For all those out there (Tim? Others?) using the dome port for the INON and a G9 ...
How's the corner sharpness with the dome port?

Not sure if these are the best examples, but I took these pictures Saturday with my G9 in the Patima Housing with the short port and the UWL-100 Wide Angle Conversion Lens. The pictures were taken with the G9 completely zoomed out, and none of the pictures have been cropped. Also, please keep in mind that the visibility was not perfect - I estimate it was somewhere in the area of 50 feet or so:
Hi Jeremy. I don't think you'll notice any difference between the corner sharpness of the UWL-100 with the dome fitted or not. As you've probably already found out with the 'undomed' lens, just don't touch the zoom!
Its not a big budget piece of glass your side of the pond so I'd recommend a purchase if you're going to keep your G9 for a season or two. And I expect your INON glass will readily transfer to a G10 if you decide to stick with compacts.
Like me you may wish to keep a second undomed lens for use with filters which will double your budget. Removing and refitting the dome is not a convenient option...
