I am brand new to the board, and old to UW photography. I live in central Wisconsin and take one, maybe two trips a year, but have been at it for over 30 years! Kept my old Nik III all this time, used a 15mm plus lots of macro. Got to be a hassle with film in the airports and lack of processing. See the pics on return and then not dive again for a year- bad combo! Have a Rebel EOS bur not ready to lug a housing given the current trend with airlines and baggage. Bought a little Casio and housing-relatively happy with the images but need a more powerful strobe. I thought a slave strobe might be my answer, but have never worked with one. Any feedback would be appreciated. Would like to spend about $200 or so on one.
