If you live in Northern California, there's a scooter demo day at Lake Tahoe this coming weekend on the 20th of July.
The Northern Nevada Dive Club is sponsoring a DPV Demo Day at 10am,at Hurricane Bay, Lake Tahoe. Hurricane Bay is just a few miles south of Tahoe City, CA.
If you're an experienced scooter pilot, this is a big deal: anyone that's bemoaned their inability to try out different scooters side by side, this is your chance! It's not often (if ever, no one seems to remember all these different scooters in the water at once) that there's a sample of the market all in one place like this.
If you've never scootered, manufacturer reps will be there, and basic instruction provided for first timers.

The event is possible because we're doing 3 days of performance testing on these scooters, and the manufacturers have agreed to stay an extra day to allow the consumer to give them a try.
