Ikelite DS-125 or two Ikelite DS-51s for Canon G9

Hi All,

This is my first post one this forum.

I just purchased a Canon G9 and I intend to purchase the Ikelite housing. I am trying to decide whether I should buy one Ikelite DS-125 now and add another strobe later when I can afford it or whether I should purchase two DS-51s now. Would two of the lest powerful DS-51s provide sufficient light and coverage for the G9?

I would appreciate your thoughts.

I would recommend purchasing the one DS-125 now and then adding the second later. If you intend to take quality wide angle shots you're going to need the extra lighting of the DS-125. Also, if you shoot with only one strobe you may get some pretty harsh shadows. BTW, Ikelite is about to introduce the upgrade on the DS-125 so this could be your second strobe down the road...
