Philippines - I

  1. A May trip to the Philippines was only the third time my wife and I have dived the Pacific, and it was magnificent diving - a 10 on our scale. We dived Puerto Galera, Anilao, and Dauin. Except for Dauin, we had a great mix of coral reef diving and muck diving. Dauin was basically muck diving except for a pier.

  2. Fantastic images, Jim!

I particularly like the nudi (photo 3) and the mantis shrimp photo...

  3. Great shots.

    What lens, 60 mm?

  4. Brilliant! The nudi in 3 is the sharpest focused nudi i've ever seen, and great dof! A beautiful set. I am excited to see your other post!

  5. Wonderful shots Jim. :D

I'm envious I didn't see any of those critters in Malaysia. :)

  6. What lens, 60 mm?

Yes, I used the 60mm on all of these shots. I love the 105mm, but not knowing what to expect, I left the 60mm lens on the D200 most of the time.
