epogue Moulti lens adapter holder for canon WP-DC18 and A650 IS

  1. Hi everybody

    I have a Canon camera A650is, with a canon housing WP-DC18

I am interesting in adapting wet lenses (wide-angle and macro) on the housing but Canon housing has an oval shape port that does not allow me to use Inon adaptors and Inon Lenses.

The use of a 67mm thread of Epoque placed on a holder seems to be a solution. However, I was wondering if only one connection point between the holder and the housing is enough in order to work properly with both wide-ange and macro lenses.

Is anybody aware of this system?

Could you share with me your experience and your opinion?

    Thanks in advance

  2. I can't help you, but I had the same question for a different housing.

I just ordered this for my new panasonic DMC-TZ5 http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/5513...Housing_f_.html

The Epoque lens adaptor is listed as an accessory to the housing, but when I contacted BH Photo they replied that they didn't know if it would actually work!

I've tried searching the web for some kind of compatability list, but have come up empty-handed so far.

The camwera has a pretty wide lens on it so far, but I would REALLY like to use a wide angle wetlens to go with it.

    Thanks,

    Jon

  3. I saw that Inon one, and then realized it only works with the macro lens. It must suffer fromt he same problem as the G9 when it comes to OEM housings.

I've been Emailing BH Photo back and forth trying to see if the Epoque mount will work, they advertise it as so, but they really have no idea and can't even test it out to tell me. They also said that if I bought it and tried it in the pool I would be stuck with it for good. :D

I'd gladly buy from a more customer friendly store, but I haven't seen any that have it in stock to order from.

    Jon
