Any 'Buzz' about D700 housings?

  1. I know it's early, but has anyone heard any buzz about housings for the upcoming Nikon D700? That camera and a 14-24mm lens... what could be better?

    Just about everything else really.

I have yet to see a setup that yields acceptable corner sharpness with 14-24. 17-35 is a very good option that holds up well in dome ports.

Agreed. i have a 14 prime and find it collecting dust after several dissapointing shoots. The 17 -35 is a great choice. Keep the 14-24 on land. it is a great lens, jut not for underwater (yet).

I'll play, "One that exists, you own it and it's paid for" :D

  5. I tend to agree with me Arizonian team-mate... :D

If only he would switch to Nikon; then I could like him... damn yankee... :)

  6. Why are so many Wetpixellers so rich? I could upgrade, or go diving, but not both!

  7. I am going in the pool to test the 14-24 with a full frame D3, will post my result ASAP and we are coming along with a really cool affordable housing for the D700 (machined from solid, new look etc.)
