Web Gallery Software???

Just wondering what are some of the better gallery software applications out there. Looking for 2 main types - one that I can just dump bulk pictures that will be standardly resized & thumbnailed.... & a gallery for those prize pictures that I want to take some time to write a description for as well as a note or 2.

Any help would be utmostly appreciated!!! Thank you kindly.

The options I know:

1. PhotoShop has an option to do that with some modifications.

2. JAlbum (http://www.datadosen.se/jalbum/) free software that give you more modifications options, especially if you know some Html.

For the albums, I really like breezeBrowser. It is really a raw file conversion program, but has a HTML program that offers you about 14 different templates aand auto-creates your web pages.

I re-did my web site last week. The home page with made with Dreamweaver and every gallery was auto generated with Breeze Browser.

Its not flashy, but it is fast and works great.

Thank you much, I'll look into those!

Any other suggestions?
