She had such poor luck on this trip from Sorong - Flores, her dome port smashed and with no extra she just carried on using the kit she had and made the most of it! Looks like her good will and hard work paid off after all, now she has a winning image on NatGeo...

I don't blame Graham for not attaching a link as I found it a bit hard to link again after the WP update (icons have changed).

Plus lots of time Graham is on his SMS, but I'm sure point is taken by him. Still I understood exactly what Graham meant and it took me all of 20 seconds to find the photo on a Google Search.

Atiyeh is a pretty famous name here in Oregon. I'm wondering if Hillary is related to the former Governor of our state. Vic Atiyeh was the first Arab governor, according to the article in the following link, in the United States:

Posters are very encouraged to celebrate fellow members of WP who have won a contest or published somewhere. Links to announcements and images help readers understand the context of the post is much easier than having readers do their own google search. Giving their WP name would also be a great help. I thought Hilary Clinton went to Alor and had her photo taken by NatGeo while under fire.

Hilary is a good friend, that's why I was so excited to receive this news from someone who knows nothing about diving or even photography. The whole stroy behind me finding out this news is rather bizarre, though that's another story!

As far as I know this not her maiden name, Atiyeh is her husbands surname. I'll find out if there any relation as I'll be with her best friend from San Fran very soon who hopefully will have her phone number. You know, she may not even know she's won this as she rarely does email!

Her husband is actually an amazing guy in his own right. Many years ago he faught the local loggers to save a huge part of an area where he grew up and he turned it into a huge National Trust area - on his own! Apparently someone wrote a story about how he did this. Sorry never read it, just heard the story on our 2nd trip together!
