You often read about how good Ike's service is, but I experienced first hand that Subal is up there as well. When I bought my D2x housing 2-3 years ago it showed some pitting. It turned out my housing was one of a batch of housings which showed that problem, and Subal replaced my whole housing immediately. Unfortunately I was in a rush on my way to a trip, so they sent me a demo model they had. At the time I noticed some small cracks in the front part of the housing. I asked them about it, and they told me it was cosmetic only, just in the top layer of the housing, it wouldnt influence the integrity. And indeed, for the last 2 years it hasnt caused any problems.
In time though, the cracks became bigger, until they were just plain ugly. I mailed them about it recently, and without question they offered to again swap my D2x housing for a new one. I just got it today.
If I had 3 thumbs id stick them all up. This is the kind of service I wish I would get with anything I buy.
