Anyone from Down Under seen these ones before? Would be cool to be the first one to take U/W pictures of them ![]()

Yes, they were discovered in 2005 in Townsville. They are called the Snubfin Dolphin. They are critically endangered in Australia, having been wiped out at Ellis Beach in Cairns, ostensibly due to the shark nets.
There is a WWF campaign to help save them. I've attached the factsheet from the WWF on this species and also:

How cool! They allmost look like Beluga's lost in down under.
Imagine that they are already critically endangered just after they were discovered... If they hadn't they might got extinct by now, while nobody knew (perhaps this has happened or will happen to other marine species also).
Wow, amazing and very sad at the same time.
Maybe we could send Mark Erdmann from CI, Indonesia over there. He's certainly do his utmost to help save lots of Indonesia and doing an amazing job of it too!
