External monitors for Ikelite housings

4 posts
  1. Just came across a nifty article on a company that is putting out monitor backs for Ikelite housings.

I don't know if you guys have seen it yet, but it sure looks interesting. It might get me thinking about Ikelite as another option for a housing with white balance control and now external monitors!

    Cool!!

Here is a link if iterested.

  2. Interesting but at €590 + the housing, it's getting very close to the electronic/aluminum housings which have monitors built in already.

But it does allow present owners a way to upgrade without buy new housings and cameras.

I know it sounds expensive. I do think however this provides options for people who have cameras

like canon HF100 and older sony SR1's to get a housing with manual white balance control.

Even the new SR11 and SR12 your options are Ikelite or L&M Bluefin at $3799. The Ike option

looks alot better in that light.

  4. There's also the Mangrove housings from Aditech. And that's EMWB. Or so they claim ^_^
