Hot spot DS200 night dive

  1. During night dives, if I am using the modleing light from one of my dual DS200 strobes, there is a bright circular hotspot. It only occurs on whichever side I have on for the modeling light, and is more prevalent against a light background. Is this the modeling light staying on and being bright enough to appear in the photo? I dont think it is a hotspot from strobe aiming, because it only happens on one side if only one modeling light is on.

  2. Check your shutterspeed and let us know what it is. You will only see the modeling light if you use a pretty slow shutterspeed.
