Patima PDCH-D80 Tokina 10-17

Hi all

i have a Nikon D80 in a Patima housing, model PDCH-D80, i want to buy a Tokina 10-17, but the house manufactur does not know if that lense are compatible

does anyone know? does anyone use that equipmment?

I am using 10.5mm Nikkor fisheye on Patima d80 housing & has no problem. On Tokina, same dome port covers

10 mm side of lens but, Patima does not provide manual gear for angle changes.

PATIMA don't have a zoom ring for the Tokina 10-17.

Solution:

Contact PATIMA and ask if intend make one soon, because this lens is very popular among the underwater photographers or try for see if work (if possible, with Casco Antiguo) the 10-22 zoom ring with the 160mm Optical Dome Port.

i already contact Patima...., but they do not give much answers.....

i also contact Casco Antiguo (in Portugal) and they will provide that ring ( 10-22mm with zoom control) and them i will try that lense

I think nexus have the same measures in the ports. If so, you could put one of them ( I don´t no if they have a ring, or it was from the body of the housing).

Another option is adapting a port of other model. I think saga (spain) do this.
