Wow! I love all four of them. The last three are my favorites (in no particular order), but all of them are excellent
Thank you!
all 4 are great, I really like the first macro.
People tend to prefer that one even though the frogfish is much more difficult to see. Thank you!
Fantastic stuff David; you guys ought to have photography boot camp for the rest of us.So tell us what is your training regimen.
5 times around the dive site with your camera above your head.
5 times around the dive site with BOTH cameras above the head would be a very tough training!!
But it is true that we really "train" certain kind of pictures. Like one day I would prefer to shoot WA with 10-17 but I know I have to practice fish pictures so I use 60mm...or only allowing myself a small amount of shots to improve the "trigger" etc... Competition´s season ends at the end of september and then I shoot what I want and also drink more on the weekends!
Beautiful shots, David. The 'windswept' blennie is gorgeous!
Thank you! Luisa found that blennie and he has been living on the same rock for a couple of weeks. Is fun to shoot because is very brave and is always checking for invaders and not caring for the camera.
Now that is an angle on a Frogfish that you don't see too often. Very nice.
James
I was looking at the frogfish through the viewfinder trying to get a fullface shot (105mm) but the rocks around would only let me the see the top/back of her head so I wasn´t even going to shoot, but a small pufferfish swam close and the frogfish looked up (I thought "She is going to eat the puffer and I will not even be able to see it..."), the puffer drifted away and I shot before she went back to rest...
just lovely, I like them all!!!!
Thank you!
Great pics! I love especially the blenny and the scenery before that
Thank you!
