Subal SB800 housing for sale

2 posts
  1. Hi All,

I recently bought a secondhand setup which consisted of an Ikelite D70 TTL housing, with a Subal flash housing.

The Subal flash housing will not work with the Ikelite, so I was a tricked a bit there. ;)

However, the Subal housing is in as new condition, and I am going to sell it, (as much as I would love to keep it and Buy a Subal housing for my D300 !!)

I will be putting it up for sale in the classifieds in the next day or so, as soon as I take some pics of it, and when I work out how much to ask for it!!

The housing I have is actually for the Nikon SB80DX, but I have spoken to Subal, and they have e-mailed me to confirm it can be used with the SB800 with a small modification. When I put my SB800 into the housing, the control buttons do not quite line up, they are about 5mm short of the buttons. So I assume the modification is simply a spacer under the "horshoe" mount to push the flash into the housing by about 6mm.

So, if anyone wants it ...

  2. Hi, did you sold your Subal?

    regards

    Leszek
