Canon 40D & Ike housing Setup

I just received my ikelite housing for my 40D and am having trouble setting up the zoom clamp and the port. I'm using a 17-85(kit) lens and have the special dome port for this lens.

The problem i'm having is with the zoom clamp and the gear sleeve. i can get the clamp over the lens but neither of the 2 gear sleeves seem to fit over the clamp. has anyone had this problem before?

Have you contacted the dealer that you bought it from?

actually i figured it out. apparently the port for that lens does not require the use of the gear sleeve.

thanks anyway.

now i just have to figure out how to get my strobe to work!
