  1. Well not quite invisible, but very see through.

Edit: Location was near the cod hole on the GBR. I think this a Periclimenes sp. but im unsure. Can anyone with any knowledge of anemone shrimp confirm this?

  2. I like this shot a lot. The shrimp is tack sharp and the lighting is very nice. My only negative would be the burned out anemone tip in the upper right but I don't find it too distracting.

  3. Thanks Lary - Shame about the blown tip but i think the detail captured here makes the photo. It was so hard to get the focal plane sorted out when working in such a shallow DOF.

  4. Shame about the blown tip

Fantastic shot, clarity on a transparent shrimp is very good.

As for the blown tip easy ,,,,,, dodge and burn,,,, well burn actually :uwphotog:

(Or even get even more creative and burn then paint over some texture and colour then fiddle with the layer opacity to tweak it.)

    Cheers,

Yeah, a little clone stamp will fix that pretty quickly, great shot.
