Read-only discussion
So not being very computer savvy got a little help with the new site, still took a lot of time to get everything moved and formatted. Still needs work and trying to come up with a way to post HD video clips so please excuse that section.
All thoughts and input welcome.
Just got back from Lembeh, WOW!! Now just have about 8hrs of video and a couple thousand pictures to go thru.....
Looks very nice. Great galleries.
Images are great.
Two point that disturb a little:
- The upload time of the images is quit slow with my ADSL connection.
- Need to be scroll down on almost every screen, even to see one image, better to build the site for less as possible of it,I use 1280 X 800 screen resolution, not the highest resolution, but quit common.

Im assuming you really want feedback, so here goes..
- why did you make your navbar all images? It looks like a normal font, so having images there is really unnecessary and increases loadtimes.
- i would make the gallery images thumbnails clickable as well
- as mentioned before, the gallery itself is a bit big. I have a 1900x1200 screen and I still need to scroll.
- the navbar doesnt move to the right 'tab' when you click on a menu item. Once you're in say 'trip reports', 'Home' is the one thats yellow. Should be tripreports right?
- i find yellow a hard font color to read, but thats subjective.
- about us doesnt actually tell me who you are

Beautiful galleries. I have to agree with the above posts, though, the images lose something when you have to scroll to see the while image.
