Hi Wetpixel,
Finally had a chance to organize my images from my two most recent shoots: Indonesia (Komodo & Lembeh) and Brazil (southwestern portion near Bolivia & Paraguay). Komodo on the Seven Seas was phenomenal (already rebooked for Aug. 09) and Lembeh (KBR) was outstanding (get a private guide like I did; makes a huge difference). Brazil was in the sticks with a guide (the only way to do it).
The extended assignment focused on obtaining new material for my seventh book, due out sometime in the spring of 2009. It includes lots of variety. While the majority is uw, there's people, scenics and wildlife (to tell a complete story of locations, issues, cause & effect, etc.). I used lots of different lenses for both the topside (16mm, 10.5mm, 35-70mm, 80-200mm, etc.) and uw (usual suspects here: 60mm, 105mm, 10-17 Tok primarily) and two D2x bodies going all out, day in and day out. For a sneak peek, check out the three galleries, found at:

Enjoy & very best wishes,
