What do YOU want to see in product reviews?

  1. Wetpixel has been putting out product reviews over the last few years on various underwater products, particularly housings and camera systems. We've also published non-staff reviews as submitted.

Still the most important aspect of any review is the reader's needs. It would be great to hear from you, our members (who unfortunately represent a minority of readers of our reviews) to see what you'd like to see in a review of housings and other equipment.

Do you prefer a set format like many of the other sites/magazines? Do you want a summary at the end in point form (which is very popular in reviews)? Do you want a bare knuckles, unsugar coated critique or a personal review of a product? Let us know how we can improve our reviews.

  2. For cameras and lens there are other cites that do very through reviews and they can be referenced here - no need to repeat them. But on those aspects that relate to U/W phottography, i.e. tendancy to flare, cornor sharpness, ability to fit in an older housing...these should be brought forward and discussed.

For other hardware, I believe users input from actual use would be of high value.

Also availability, best prices and perferred dealers.
