Should be do-able in under 3 hours in a car (if there aren't any major ceremonies).

I'll be in Tulamben on Saturday. I'll ask how long it takes to get to Ubud. That way you'll have "up to the minute" information

How long does it take to get between the two locations?
I've done it in less than 2.5 hours (but in the evening when there is less trafic)
