  1. Hi,

I am interested in the nikon 35mm 2.0D for shooting fishportraits and sharks. Does anybody uses this lens and can you recommand this lens. I already own the nikon 17-35mm but I think the 35mm will make a better Bookeh and is sharper at wide open apertures. How are your experiences with this lens and will it give better results as the 17-35mm? I want to use it behind a dome because so it will give me the 35mm. Do I have to use a close up lens? closed focus distance is 25cm.

  2. Hi,

I use this lens with the Nikon D200/D300 behind a flat port. Since the Micro Nikkor 60mm litterally becomes a 90mm with the APS-size sensor, I use the 35mm as a "quasi-micro" lens for fish portrait and some close-ups.

    Great results.

Haven't used it behind a dome.
