JPEG v TIFF

  1. In terms of maximum size of printed photo, does it matter if you shoot and store in JPEG or in TIFF?

     

    Currently if I shoot at highest quality with a 4 mega pixel camera in JPEG mode I can get photo quality print up to 8 x 12 inches. Would shooting and storing in TIFF increase this maximum?

  2. Go to the topic above and look at rec for printing. There are notes for printing tiff images at Costco versus jpgs.
