I had a great day of cave diving up at Ginnie Springs today. The river is still tannic so it made for great contrast between the tannic water above and the crystal clear spring flow below while on deco at Devil's Ear. For those of you who've been there I was sitting on the log with my legs wrapped around it so I didn't get spit out while aiming up at the high noon sun.
Glorious image, great use of available conditions.
Cheers,
Jim.
Whooooaaa! This one is special.
Congrats!
Steve
Very cool and unusual.
Wow that is cool.
Incredible (the good kind)!
Great shot Doug!
Fantastic!
Killer shot!
sweet shot!!!!!!!
Thanks for all of the kind words. It's really neat when everything comes together -- noonday sun in a cloudless sky, tannic water over the clear spring water, and a cooperative model -- Bert Wilcher, owner of Tampa Adventure Sports (www.tampaadventuresports.com).
Doug
Stunning colours!!!
Excellent image, Doug! Especially considering the flow out of there... (For those that don't know, this is not a calm environment. The water is gushing out of the cavern.)
WOW, WOW, WOW...really cool!!!!
Brilliant....awesome image.
