  1. New housing for EX-1

I'd like to introduce a custom made housing for EX-1. Basic, simple but it has key features and it's quite cheap in compare to Gates and Sealux housing.

    Housing:

10 electronic buttons (right - rec on/off/zoom/push auto focus, left - menu controls)

hd dome port (made by seacam) for wide angle 0,8 (full zoom through) or flat port

some additional features on request (viewfinder, WB, iris, color correction filter)

    External Monitor - 3 options:

    slm430sdw - 4,3" 1440x270 - 4:3 high resolution

    slm560nd - 5,6" 1920x480 - 4:3 true HD

    slm700sdw - 7" 2400x480 - 16:9 true HD

    Lights:

    45 W HID - 5500K - 110 degrees - 5000 lumens (switchable to 60% - 3000 lumens)

    35 W HID - 5500K - 110 degrees - 3300 lumens

    50 W LED - 5500K - 110 degrees - 2000 lumens

You can see video with the EX-1 and first version of the housing.

Now, we are trying to add some new stuff like charging batteries and downloading flash cards without removing the camera from the housing.

  4. Interesting site, shame I can't understand any of it.

I would get an English version done asap, I reckon you will have some takers, the product looks good quality and there are a lot of people looking for EX1 housings. It also looks like you build custom stuff... why not look at a RED housing? There aren't a heap of options for it out there and there a lot of people waiting / wanting one.

  5. Hi, I also use gralmarine products and I can truly recommend them as "almost indestructible" :)

Since Bartek doesn`t have english version of the site try this http://tinyurl.com/5abuyk

google translator handles very well on that site for the basic information purposes.

    best regards,

    Piotr

ps. its my first post here and already in "polish" topic, welcome everybody:)

RED? Now we are working on this camera. No matter what it will be, RED, GREEN or BLUE, everything is possible in custom made housing :)

Completely new website with updated products and english version will be in 2-3 weeks.

  8. I use led lights from Bartek for quite a while now.

    I'm very happy with them.

Gralmarine has been present on local market for years and has good reputation.

    Just my 2 cents.

  10. Hi Gralmarine

Just wondering about the 10 electronic controls you say it has.

The EX1 has no LANC control?

Could you explain what controls you do have please.

    Cheers

  11. Hi Bartek,

When do you plan to have housings for these monitors? Also, how will the dynamic range compare with that of the native EX1 monitor? Finally, how are you handling the interface between the monitor and the signal coming from the camera?

    Thanks,

    Shawn

  13. Now if only Sony would wise up like Canon and have EVF output like the new XH series.

Bartek are you going to cover the XH series?

  14. Those electronic controls mimic what is available with the IR remote that comes with the camera. Of course there is also the fujinon lens control port although I think he is just using the remote control functions.
