new tamron lens

I see an add in Photopro magazine for a new tamron 10 to 24 3.5 to 4.5 zoom. Bring on the port/extension

I remember reading a review somewhere (no idea where now though) that wasn't too impressive. There's already similar lenses out there (Nikon, Canon, Sigma, Tokina, etc), some of which are faster by a long shot, so why's this one got you excited vazuw?

Anything new and shiney excites me, and its a bit better then my tokina
