dec/jan trip

  1. I was able to free up some time and money last minute, and am looking to do a trip, most likely a liveaboard, this December or January (between Dec 12-25 or Jan 1-12). What parts of the world are good to visit during our winter?

    Thanks,

    Roger

  2. Palau is very good during the winter when the water is fractionally cooler drawing the bigger pelagics up from deeper water, weather isn't too bad either! There are loads of liveaboards here, Aggressor, Ocean Hunters, amongst others, and all the sites are accessible this way and it's a very comfortable way to get in some world class diving.

Raja Ampat - almost no wind and the water temp is 90 degrees, about 30% rain, and stable weather (on the equator) Oh, and the world's best diving...
