So easy yet so difficult

Went looking for a very good dive site for mainly Macro stuff in South East Asia, and at the same time wanted a decent resort so non diving friends can hang out at the pool.

Bali - Good resorts, moderate diving (?)

Manado - Good diving, moderate resorts (?)

Komodo - too difficult to get to, I dont have alot of leave

Only place so far still looking like win win is Puerto Galera in Philippines

Any tips ?

You could always try Kota Kinabalu and the offshore Islands, the macro potential is superb there. Sangalaki area is also very good, Patterns & I will be there after our Manado trip in October.
