Any tips for lighting, exposure, or composition?

I think this shot was taken at ISO 100, f5.6, 1/45th using the 12-24DX at 12mm. So I was pretty close.

    Cheers

  2. Nice shot

A diver in the blue left-up corner has been added a lot.

  3. Like this?

  4. James - How close can you focus at 12mm?

Try flowers, candy, maybe a little sweet talk

Depends really on whether you going for detail or setting a scene for articulating text.

I have done it with a new pair of Volo

About the shot, the brain coral don't have enough details for stand alone in the frame, so I sought it can be a nice foreground for a diver or so.

  9. Jim:

The lens focuses to 11" and I was shooting it behind an 8" dome - so I'd say a foot or less.

Alto and Bob: Yes, I see what you mean. There isn't enough detail to make the photo. It's really a scene but could use another "subject" like a diver or a school of fish in the upper left.

    Cheers and thanks,

    James
