  1. Hi, I’m completely new at submarine photography, and I would like to know if there is a place where I could show you my pictures, and maybe I could have some advice about the mistakes that I could be doing. Tank you

    Hi Jose,

Welcome to Wetpixel. You can post your pictures in the Photo Gallery areas, or if you are specifically requesting constructive criticism, then post in the Image Improvement area. There are also instructions in those area as to how to link photographs.

  3. There are plenty of options, but I have only used two:

    - First up is right here on WP: Look at the 'Images/Galleries: Photo and Gallery Showcase' and 'Images/Galleries: Image Improvement Center' sections. Not really a gallery, but a great way to get opinions, help and a pat-on-the-back for a great shot. This is obviously specialized in UW-photos.

    - For more gallery type applications, I use photo.net (e.g. my page http://photo.net/photodb/user?user_id=1085144) to showcase some of my photos and request critiques on them and have been quite happy with it. They have a UW-photo section and the critique feature works very well. It's free up to a limit, but the annual price is reasonable (enough so, that I forgot how much I paid).

  4. Thanks!

  5. Buenos Dias Jose,

A lot of us use Flickr to host our images. It's very easy then to show them here so people can take a look and offer suggestions. There is a thriving community of underwater photographers there. You can click on my link below to see the kind of comments you get. For real good improvement ideas you can post them in the Image Improvement forum here on wetpixel.

    Good luck and welcome.

    Steve
