Dave Vecella of Yap's Beyond the Reef passed away

For many who have been to Yap may know Dave Vecella, partner of Beyond the Reef with Jesse. Mike V told me news of his death yesterday but I wanted to wait for the local Yapese community to report it first.

Dave apparently had a OOA situation, surfaced before finishing his deco requirements and died of complications in the deco chamber. For those who knew and dived with Dave, I'm sure like me, will mourn the passing of another good guy.

He was a really nice guy to chat with. Mike told me of the event some time ago, was shocked to say the least.
