Just wanted to share some recent shots from the pool. The subjects for this shoot were Founder/Director of Planet Funk (www.planetfunk.tv) Shawn Welling. The red-haired lady is Jena W. - a dance photographer and diver who works with Shawn and is super interested in underwater photography. She learned a lot about underwater photography at this shoot no doubt - but I was surprised she was so enthusiastic about being a photo subject. :-) Shawn is a ham and he likes unique photos like this to use in his troupe's promotional materials - these are for an upcoming production called "The Messenger." Jena and Shawn showed up with some crazy props and this shoot was a lot of fun.
Lighting was one on-camera flash w/ big diffuser (SB102 diffuser on DS200 (thanks to M. Aw for that idea)) and various other slave flashes on stands in and out of the pool. We used a professional makeup artist who also helped with the wardrobe.
