I already have the 60mm which I use on the 350D and want a little bit more out of it. Have you used this lens with a diopter and would you recommend it. I already have a woodys wet lens for this set up.
Many thanks, Stew

If you want an external diopter the next step up is the Nexus. For internal (internal to the housing, I mean) diopters, I have used both the Canon and the Marumi. Neither is cheap, but worth the extra money I think. Avoid the cheap $12 versions.

i was also wondering whether one of these extension tubes would be better

I would go with a TC in this case.....your working distance with the 60 is already short.....this will simply make it even less....
A 1.4 or 2x TC will do the trick. You can even slap the woodys over that if you want for even more magnification. Extension tubes are too long I thing. I am pretty sure that the newer Kenko TCs (Pro 300 series) will AF with your Canon too. If you do use a TC, you will probably need an extension ring too.

from what i have read the kenko pro 300 series is not compatable with the canon ef s lenses.

Stew is correct, not compatible with Autofocus on the EF-s 60 mm lens. There are lots of ways to get more magnification. The achromat I use is the Marumi DHG.
