Adobe Update Lightroom 2.2 Released

  1. Hi all,

For those folks on who've been on the fence and waiting for the software to catch up to the promises, it looks like its safe to to jump in. The new release fixes some issues with the graduated filter and adjustment brush tools. My initial attempts show a marked improvemnt in processing time on my machine. It also includes the ability to read the new Canon G10 and 5D Mk II raw files for you folks on the leading edge. In addition the Camera presets that have been in beta are now included. If you have LR 2.1 installed and have the update preference checked you'll see it next time you open the program. For you folks that have been holding out with 1.4 it might be a good time to upgrade. Have fun,

  2. Thanks for pointing that out Steve!

I hardly ever check the automatic update box when installing. Maybe it's a good idea to change it now when updating :)

    Cheers,

  3. Thanks for the update Steve, I have 2.1 now and I was wondering if it would be worth upgrading. Looks like I will be.
