Hi all,
I wonder if there is the right place to post it.
My production team is bidding a TV documentary project for a public Hong Kong TV station. The topic is about humpback whales in Tonga/Niue.
I wonder if there is anyone here who has experience filming humpback whales underwater and is willing to go to the islands for about 7 days of shooting in the summer 2009.
Please contact me (kfyuen@jibproduction.com) if interested. I will provide more info, e.g. pay and requirements... etc.
Thank you very much.

I've moved it to the appropriate forum. You'll find if you search the forum that a few members who contribute to the forum have worked in Tonga as videographers.
I would suggest you remove your email as there are phishing programs which grab emails from forums. You may get more emails about Cialis than videography.
Good luck.
You could contact www.divevavau.com they are a local operator there and the owner is an experienced filmer
Thank you very much. I also receive a couple of replies. I will contact them shortly. Thanks all.
There's a guy in teh NW of tassie that does a lot of video stuff

Hi KF,
Didn't expect to find you on this forum. Anyway just to let you know that we're moving to Hi Def within less than 3 months.
Cheers.

KF Yuen, I did 2 months shooting humpbacks in Tonga in 2008. Sent you an email.
A close friend of mine, Rodolphe Holler of Tahiti-Private-Expeditions.com has quite a bit of time in the water filming the Humpbacks off of Moorea and the French Polynesia Islands. Not sure if you are supplying cameras, but he is shooting an EX1 system.
We have finally chosen a videographer to assist us in the filming. Again, thank you very much for your help and interest.
Mr KF Yuen,
I'm sure everyone that was interested in your requirements appreciates you letting them know that you have found a suitable videographer.
