January/February Scuba Diving Magazine image

Shamless but people say they want to know..sorry

Mike Veitch and I have images on the same page in the current (possibly last?) issue of Scuba Diving Jan Feb 2009 issue-Bahamas shark image for me. I also have some Bonaire images in the current Sport Diver Diving and Resorts issue.

Is Scuba Diving ceasing publication?

Not sure if they're ceasing publication but they were bought out by Bonnier.

That caused a huge uproar on the www.scubadiving.com message board when they let a whole bunch of employees go right before Christmas.

Here's a thread over on the D2D message board that provides some information on at least one change:

I would say that they will cease publication sice all of SCUBA DIVING staff was terminated. There may be a few working straggelers left to cover issue obligations, the staff held a meeting and were all let go in one swoop. I doubt that Sport Diver will run two magazines when one will do the same thing.
