Dive Photo/Video Trip in Maldives

Hey all!

First, Happy New Year 2009. And hope this year will be pleasant to all of you. I'm going to be arranging some trip to Baa Atoll, up north of Maldives where Mantas and Whale Sharks gather for feeding and mating during a certain period of the year. This year I'm arranging the trips starting from July till end of September. Last year I was very lucky, as we saw more than 150 Mantas and up to 8 Whale Sharks at the same time. Hi Shaff, I am off to the Maldives in a couple of weeks and cant wait. I have been there 3 times before staying for 2 weeks at different islands. We are doing a 2 week liveaboard this year though so hopefully we will get to see a whaleshark or 2. ( fingers crossed anyway ). I have heard a lot of good things about Baa Atoll. I have seen some footage of the BIG schools of mantas that gather up there. AMAZING !!!

Could you give any further details like what boat your trip is on and an indication of cost.

Here are the details!!! Finally!!!!

The rates are US$ 220 per person per day.

That's including: 3 dives per day

Fullboard meals

Complementary 1.5ltr water bottle per day

Excursions to inhabited and uninhabited islands

Beach Barbecues (Day or Night)...depends on you.

Night fishing activities

And if you want to spend a night sleeping under the stars on an uninhabited island...that can be arranged! Dive sites...you can choose! I will try to make the trip to go according to your needs.

First trip starting in August 1st week!!!!
