Impact makes them and B&H sells them I think for this battery for about $10 or so. NO pulse load tester that I know about.

Today I had a very interesting conversation with Mr Phil Zimmerman of ZTS ( http://www.ztsinc.com ). Phil confirmed that they are able to modify their standard 'MBT-1' ( http://www.ztsinc.com/mbt1.html ) batter checker to incorportate probes which will enable connection with and condition checking of Li-Ion camera and video battery packs. The price of the modified MBT-1 is suggested to be $150.00 which considers an increase of $75 to cover the costs associated with connection probes and software changes.
To an extent, I am told that the modified unit will be 'battery specific' i.e. it will operate within a certain voltage range but there will be some limited flexibility to accomodate battery packs of approximately similar voltages. Also the standard functionality of the MBT-1 unit will remain unaltered, providing the benefits of other useage. To build an appropriate custom unit, ZTS will need to see a photo of the battery pack.
I own a ZTS Mini-MBT and have found it to be invaluable for condition checking AA and AAA's and I am more than happy to recommend the quality and performance of ZTS products. Based here in the UK, I have absolutely no pecunary interest in ZTS sales. I have explained to Mr Zimmerman my interest and have suggested that he may wish to contribute to this thread in order to determine the interest of Wetpixelers and to respond directly to your questions.
I am sorry if this introduces a commercial element to the forum, but I feel that this is an opportunity which cannot be missed and will resolve a potential and very real issue of battery performance which has, to date, been unaddressed.
I hope this helps.
