Sea & Sea DX-1200HD

Been looking at Sea & Sea's new DX-1200HD camera. I am not considering buying this camera, but I was just wondering what camera the Sea & Sea model is based on (or is it their "own"). I know that the DX1G and DX2G are Ricoh cameras, so it's quite easy to find reviews of those, but I would also like to read some reviews for the 1200HD

I've had a hard time finding reviews on it, also. there's one at http://forum.scubatoys.com/gear-informatio...-dx-1200hd.html with some sample pictures. I wasn't impressed with those - the pictures looked flat and the colors didn't have much depth. The camera has all the right numbers, though, including 30 fps video. I'm just not sure I want to risk money in that camera until I see more. And the Ukraine is not known for quality electronics, you know. Think I'll wait until a more reliable manufacturer comes out with a competitive camera with similar features - shouldn't be long.
