  1. This question is for the experts in video cameras. i am looking to upgrade to a better video system, right now i am shooting a Sony TRV 900 in L&M housing, i want even better video quality, the 900 has done me an excelent job, the cameras is about 10 years old and still working, I really dont want to go to the bulky sony fx1 or 7. I have seen that JVC makes a three ccd camera that is small, any feed backs on that camera, and also how important is having a 3 CCD camera, I know on my TRV 900 the quality with it is 20 times better then a regular single CCD, I have been told that My TRV 900 takes better video then most of the HD cameras out there unless you go to the FX1 or FX 7, i think thats the models. I was hoping Sony would come out with a small 3 CCD camera thats good in low light.

    Thanks

The JVC M100 is not out yet. Do a search on CMOS and CCD sensors in this forum for comparisons. I suggest you check out the many threads regarding HD compact camcorders like the Canon H series and Sony SR series to get your answers about comparing with the TRV900.

There will always be a compromise in quality of image vs size of rig. It all depends on what you are looking for. Looking at the videos posted by members and see if you like what you see. That's the best way to decide.
