what are the best strobes.

i plan on doing more wa work than macro. which strobes are the best. also would you get a housing to fit your strobes or would you just use the strobes that fit the housing you want. in other words what is a more important peice of equipment the strobes or the housing. thanks.

ok...i realize that much. not asking if i should buy one or the other asking if you would buy your strobes around the housing u really want or vice versa. basically at the end of the day which peice of equipment will make the bigger difference in the end result of you photos. being that they are both an absolute necesity which would you say to spend the extra money on a high end housing or strobes?

That is too broad and general a question, which is probably why no one has answered it yet. You are asking how important a strobe is in shooting macro vs the housing? That's self explanatory. There are quite a few threads regarding shooting macro, macro lenses and strobes. Perhaps you should research a bit more so you can ask more specific questions regarding which strobe will suit your needs?
