More shrimps needing ID's

  1. Here are a couple of other shrimps that I haven't been to ID. Still have managed to get a decent crustacean book! As you can see one specifically lives on Xenia and the other in Sargassum...

  2. Hi Graham -- They are both species of Hippolyte. The Xenia commensal is what's typically called Hippolyte commensalis in guide books. I couldn't find the other. There are many species which are commonly found on algae & are capable of quite a bit of color change depending on the color of the algae.
