  1. I posted a set of pictures from the solomos 05, and 07. 05 was my first digital trip. Jack and sue drahful, were great teachers. I decided to develop them in raw which I didnt know how to do at the time. I know its alot of pictures, but 2 10 day trips is 80 dives plus or minus. http://www.flickr.com/photos/vazuw

  3. Vazuw - Your solomons shots are lovely and really take me back (that was my first Indopacific trip and the place where I fell in love with UW imaging) - the over/under and Leru cut shots are especially nice, as is the diver photographing the anemone/fish.

Wanted to comment, when I finished the series, I saw the absolutely beautiful shot of the red gorgonian at Santa Cruz Island - nice lighting effect you achieved!!! I may have to try to imitate that (possibly Saturday)...

    Best-

  5. You know you've been in the solomons too often if you can tell where most images were taken

  7. Great show. Loved it.

  8. Thanks . I realize, I want to go back again. With the right conditions, marys point, is one of my all time favorite sites. The model is my wife, who as jim c knows, was on her first trip after recovering from spinal fusion surgery at 2 levels. She is the toughest person I know.
