Pelican buys Hardigg

  1. this is bad news. storm cases were a great competitor to pelican, and you looked hard enough you could get storm cases at great prices.

I expect the storm case prices to go up. or be replaced by pelican cases. get them cheap while / if you can.

I have the storm case im2950, I think its great, holds all my UW gear for when I fly, and it's easy to wheel around the airport.

I got mine for around $200 with foam, you can still find it online at those prices, if you look really hard, but most retailers charge much more.

    i got mine here:

so from now on will storm cases be heavier and more expensive, and pelicans lighter and cheaper?

  3. At least now maybe the Pelican latches won't fly open for no reason.

  4. Dammit, I was going to get a Storm Case sooner or later.

Anyone know where to get them cheap?

Scott: If you need a new one, Adorama is a bit cheaper than midwest at least for the empty ones and the ones with foam.

  6. Cases 4 Less

Good prices, but they bang you on the shipping. Still comes out cheaper than other places I've looked at.
