I have the canon rebel 350 in the Ikelight housing with ds125 strobe, I would like to add a wide angle lens to this set up can some won recommend a list of the best wide angle lens offered today for canon cameras.
I have a 18-45 kit lens I like very well for underwater, what would be the advantages of a wide angle lens compared to the kit lens 18-45?
Indoman.

The greater angle of view of a wide lens will allow you to get lots of subject in the picture, from a closer camera -subject distance. This reduces the amount of water between the camera and the subject. Less water = clearer pictures, and also as you can be closer to your subject your strobes will be more effective. You will find that you may/will need to add a second strobe if you want to light your subject evenly.
A few good options for Canon cropped sensor cameras are:
Canon 10-22mm
Sigma 10-20mm
Tokina 10-17 Fisheye zoom
Do a search on these lenses here, there is plenty of discussion.
