im trying to find out what is the best battery type to use in my fisheye fix 48led light
i firstly used the alkiline batteries supplied with the unit and then went over to Nimh 2300 batteries , these batts worked ok for a while but started giving me problems after a few dives ,
a few questions
do u use high capacity eg sanyo 2700 nimh batteries in this light without problem.
do u use the new sanyo eneloop batts
with the low battery use and slow discharge im thinking its almost worth while just using Alkiline batteries.
any comments ?

What type of problems are you talking about? I have the same light and use generic Nimh 2300s and haven't noticed any issues. I have two sets of batteries, and as long as I give them a full charge at the beginning of a trip they last quite a few dives before I change them out.

i just changed to a new set of batteries and the fault seems to be fixed , i think i had a sick rechargable in my last batch , so far so good and all seems to be working fine .
( the problem was green light then red light then light shuts down , also unit would only run on half power)
love the light by the way. makes my camera focus sooo much quicker and im actually able to see my subject on night dives , also makes sharp focus easier.
