Subal ND300

Hi All

Does anyone know what this spare socket is used for on the Subal ND300 for the Nikon D300?

Could it be for a remote release?

I was told by Ryan Canon that it can be used with a pole cam.

I am sure Ryan would be happy to elaborate....!

Thanks Carol! I'm looking to purchasing that housing after I get my D300, which I will upgrade to in the near future. Good to know what it's for and, who knows, one day I may end up shooting images with a pole cam

Yes, it can be used with a remote release and Yes Ryan can help you out ( no surprise there ).

Maybe it can also be used for other things like installing a connector for downloading your pics?
