Strobe arms?

  1. Hy all, I`m looking some arms for my other strobe, so can you suggest something! I have now S&S arm set for one strobe but im not very satisfied with it its a bit massive! I came across this on ebay LINK

Its aluminum and I like design. Please recommend any other manufacturer!

    Thank you

  2. Those are ULCS arms and are well liked and respected on this thread. I use TLC arms which are basically the same type of aluminum arms. If you're looking to lighten your rig a little you might check out the stixx arms ... do a search here. There are other types of buoyancy arms available as well.

I do not believe they are ULCS but a knock off of some sort.

  4. Does anyone else have experience w/ either of these?

    Hi,

I just got my ULCS arm set from Divervision.com. ULCS or its equivalent is the way to go and I'm glad I took the advice by members of this forums to "bite the bullet" and get the ULCS arm.

I got my Sea&Sea YS-110 alpha strobe (packaged with the fiber optic cable and YS-adapter and ULCS-like clamp) from nyxell in Ebay. I also got the double handle tray from the same guy.

So I got my whole strobe setup for about US $600 and I'm very happy with it for the time being.

The arm in your link look like 10Bar arm. The codes for the items and also the measurement seems like it.

    Hope this helps.

    Cheers,

    Barttrigger
