I just recently bought a used inon z220s strobe, the old owner installed a" Inon Focus Light Controller" connected to the ttl port of the strobe connected to an "Inon Optical D Cable/Cap" which sensors the camera flash. Why the light controller. There is already a built in controller on the strobe. Why use the ttl port? What is the difference?
Can anyone help?
The focus light controller was the only way to get a z220 to ignore a digicam's preflash.

I guess that was an expesive way to do that. Do you know if it has any ttl qualities, or it is just a on switch?
